Frequently asked questions about hotel reservation/stay

Are there any services for guests staying with children?
Accommodation for babies and toddlers who sleep with their parents or use cribs are free (cribs can also be used for free). We request that children of six years old or older use an extra bed, which is offered with an extra fee.
* If you hope to use a free crib, please let us know beforehand. We will also prepare slippers and yukata (light cotton kimono) for children upon request.

Are there any swimming pools or fitness facilities?
We regret that we do not have any swimming pools or fitness facilities.
Can I make payment in advance?
Two methods are available. Please contact us for more detailed information.
- Bank transfer
- Direct payment at the hotel (Cash or credit card)
Can I reserve a non-smoking room?
 If there is a vacancy, you can reserve a non-smoking room. If such rooms are fully booked, or your desired room type does not have a non-smoking option, we will conduct the best possible deodorization treatment, so please let us know at the time of reservation.
Can I reserve a room on a higher floor or a room with a fine view?
Please tell us your preference. However, we may not be able to meet your request depending on the vacancies on the desired date. 
Can I send my luggage to the hotel beforehand?
You can send your luggage to the address below. (Please make sure to indicate your name and the date you are arriving at the hotel.)

We accept many credit cards including Diners Club International, American Express, JCB, VISA, UC, NICOS, DC, Takashimaya, and Master Card.
What can I do if there are no availabilities online?
On the Internet, only limited types of rooms are offered. Please contact us by email so that we can assist you in finding an available room.

We serve breakfast in either a Japanese-style or a Western-style restaurant.
Japanese style: Kyoto-style cuisine "Rantei" (2F, 7:00-10:00)
Western style: All day dining "La Jyho" (2F, 7:00-11:00)

Are taxes and service charges included in indicated prices?
Yes, the prices include taxes and service charges.
Are there any dress codes?
There are no special dress codes.
Can you leave out food ingredients we cannot eat due to food allergies or for religious reasons?
We will make every possible effort to meet your requirement by preparing other ingredients and taking other measures. Please consult us beforehand so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Do you have non-smoking sections?
All sections are non-smoking except the main bar "Essex."
Do you have private rooms? If yes, do we have to pay extra fee?
We have private rooms in the Kyoto-style cuisine restaurant "Rantei." They can be reserved without an extra fee, but there are limitations to the menu and the number of people. Please inquire for details.
I made an online reservation from the hotel website, but I haven't received a confirmation email.
There might have been a trouble relating to the PC environment, or the email address might have been wrong. Please contact us.
Is a cancellation fee required?
Each restaurant has its own cancellation policy for group guests and special menus. For details, please inquire directly to the restaurant.
Is there an age limit?
Minors are not allowed in the main bar "Essex" during bar time.
What is the price range of the restaurants?

The price range differs by restaurant. Please refer to the menu pages of each restaurant.

What is the time for last orders?
It is the final entry and order time.
Where is the parking area? Do you offer any discounts?
The parking areas are on B1F and B2F. If you spend \2,000 or more at our restaurants, you can have free parking for a maximum of three hours.
