ROOMS

Do you supply a yukata?

We supply night wear for use in the room. We also have child size garments available on request.

Do you have connecting rooms?

We apologize but connecting rooms are not available. On request, we can arrange for you to stay in adjacent rooms.

Can I access BD and DVD in the room?

BD players can be borrowed free of charge. However, stocks are limited and supplied on a first-come, first-served basis. We appreciate your understanding.

We have a child who shares the bed.

For children under elementary school age only, one child may share the bed. Special amenities are also available for children sharing.

Can I use the restaurants while wearing the night wear?

Please refrain from doing so.

Please could you tell me the check-in and check-out times.

The check-in time is from 15:00 and check-out is at 12 noon.

For twin-room beds, is it possible to place the beds together Hollywood style?

Our twin rooms are all of the Hollywood type, with the beds placed adjacent.

I would like to send some luggage in advance.

You may do so on the evening prior to the day of your stay or the morning of your check-in day. When doing so, please label it with the same name as the person checking into the accommodation.

Do you levy a cancelation fee?

For individual customers, a cancelation fee applies for cancelations made later than 3 days in advance. 2-3 days before, 20%; the day before, 50%, same-day 80% and no-show 100%.

ACCESS

Do you have a parking lot?

We have a parking lot accommodating up to 50 vehicles. For cars 2.5 m or more in height, please contact us in advance so that we can secure a location near the hotel entrance.

Access from Kansai International Airport

It takes approximately 75 minutes by the JR "Haruka" express train from Kansai International Airport to Kyoto Station and approximately 85 minutes by airport limousine bus.

Access from Itami Airport

It takes approximately 50 minutes by airport limousine bus from Osaka International Airport to Kyoto Station.

RESTAURANT

Is a dress code applicable?

A ‘smart casual’ dress code applies at all outlets.

Can I reserve at the cafe?

We do not accept reservations for the cafe.

Can I use the restaurant with accompanying children?

We allow children to use the restaurant. As well as preparing special children’s menus, we also have a private room, which families are welcome to use with peace of mind.

Do you have a restaurant with private rooms?

Both the Italian ‘SCALAE’ restaurant and the Japanese ‘KIZAHASHI’ restaurants each have three private rooms.

There some foods I cannot eat and/or am allergic to.

Please inform the staff of the details when making your reservation. We will do our best to suggest alternative ingredients.

Can I smoke in the private room?

We have a smoking room available on the first floor. Except for this smoking room, all other areas of the premises are non-smoking. We appreciate your understanding.

Is photography permitted?

Please only do so when taking your own pictures personally. We ask that when doing so, you please be considerate to avoid including other customers in your pictures.

Do you cater for vegetarians?

We do. Please inform us when making your reservation. Alternatively, please kindly inform the staff in advance.

Do you levy a cancelation fee for restaurant reservations?

From 14 to 8 days before the reservation date, 30% of the F&B charge. From 7 to 3 days before the reservation date, 50% of the F&B charge. From 2 days before to the eve of the reservation date, 100% of the F&B charge.

FACILITY

Is there a public bath?

We provide a hot bath in the Thousand Spa facility. Staying guests can use this facility for 3729 yen. Please note that use of this facility is limited to staying guests only.

Do you accept credit cards?

You can use VISA / MASTER / JCB / AMEX / DINERS / UnionPay cards.

Is any payment method other than cash/credit card possible?

You can also use Ali Pay or WeChatPayor PayPay via QR code.

Do you provide in-house Internet?

Wi-Fi is free throughout all areas of the hotel.

Do you provide multifunction toilets?

We have a multifunction toilet in the hotel.

Do you provide a breastfeeding room?

We have breastfeeding rooms on the1 floor and 2 floor.

Is a space to pray provided for Muslims?

We apologize, but no dedicated prayer room is provided in our hotel. As we may still be able to assist depending on hotel occupancy or banquet hall use, please consult staff as required during your stay. Please also note that a prayer room is provided on the 3rd floor of Kyoto Tower. Please also feel free to use this facility.

Do you have a hotel business center?

We do not have an in-house business center. We will assist you when you require photocopies, printouts and faxing etc. as far as possible, so please feel free to inform the staff.

What kind of facilities are available at the spa?

What kind of menu does the treatment have?

A treatment packed with Kyoto materials, traditions and culture.
We offer a variety of menus centered on tea, charcoal, and incense.

What are the features of the spa?

A meditation-themed spa that is comfortable for all five senses.

Are in-room spa treatments available?

Such treatments are available if you stay in a "Spa Suite" room with spa facilities. For guests staying in other rooms, please enjoy treatments at the spa facility treatment room.

Should I arrive at the reserved time of my treatment?

To enjoy the spa treatment in a leisurely manner, we recommend that you arrive up to 30 minutes before the designated start time. Also, please note that treatment time cannot be extended for late arrivals.

SERVICE

Do you provide a turndown service?

We offer a turndown service for guests staying in Suite and Premier rooms. Please inform us if you have a specific time you would like to request when checking in.

Do you provide luggage storage in advance?

We can keep your luggage in the porter station at the entrance even before you check in.

Can I ship my luggage by courier from the hotel?

Yes, courier delivery of luggage from the hotel is possible. We can also provide materials such as corrugated cardboard. Please inform the reception desk if you require the same.
