With this program, immerse yourself in the art of past and present with guided tours of Buddhist art at Mitera ("Imperial Temple") Sennyuji Temple and modern art inside THE THOUSAND KYOTO. Shokado bento lunch boxes by Kyoto's long-established Yaoji are provided on the Sennyuji Temple grounds. See a grand variety of Buddhist artwork as monks take you on an ""infiltrating"" tour inside Sennyuji Temple, Reimeiden (Spirit Hall), Gozasho (Rest House), Shariden (Relic Hall), and areas normally closed to the public. At the hotel, see an expressive exhibit by contemporary artists based on the concept of YURAGI (wavering) and UTSUROI (transition). After a modern art tour by our concierge, behold Buddhist art at Sennyuji Temple.

1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.	Tour and special viewing led by a Sennyuji Temple monk (includes shakyo Japanese calligraphy to copy sutras)
3:00 p.m.	Program ends, leave individually
