Kamogawa 'Noryo-yuka' Riverside Dining
'Noryo-yuka' (or 'Kawadoko') is Kyoto's well-known summertime indulgence.
It is where people enjoy the view of the river while dining in the open air on platforms that jut out towards the river from restaurants and tea houses.
'Noryo-yuka' along the Kamo River began in around 1614 and offer cuisines of Kyoto and beyond.
